Session Overview

The evolving crisis of workplace violence in healthcare, schools, and institutions of higher education continues to be a daunting problem, however there is new hope.

Workforce violence can be physical, verbal, and reputational. We will cover the range of prior harm and new that can befall caregivers, patients, educators, and students.

We will update the content from our prior 5 Part Series in 2023 and address new innovations such as A.I. and use of the Electronic Health Record to reduce harm. Innovations in the 4P’s: Prevention, Preparedness, Protection, and Performance Improvement.

Bystander Rescue Skills can be learned by anyone ages 8 to 80. We have been teaching them since 2015. Join us.

Learning Objectives:

Awareness: Participants will become aware of the latest workplace 2024 violence issues in healthcare, schools, and institutions of higher education.
Accountability: Participants will learn who can be accountable to make changes that will reduce harm in healthcare, schools, and institutions of higher education.
Ability: Participants will learn about new innovations such as Artificial Intelligence and evidence-based best practices that may reduce harm in healthcare, schools, and institutions of higher education.
Action: Participants will learn about line of site actions that can be taken immediately reduce harm by prevention, preparedness, protection, and performance improvement.
