In this program we will address the latest innovations in the 5 R’s of readiness, response, rescue, recovery, and resilience to this uniquely harmful threat.

Learning Objectives:

  • Awareness: Participants will become aware of the performance gaps in emergency preparedness that put our communities at risk.
  • Accountability: Participants will learn who can be accountable to learn best practices and act in reducing harm in our communities, healthcare, schools, and institutions of higher education during likely emergencies.
  • Ability: Participants will learn about the latest best practices in emergency preparedness in our communities, healthcare, schools, and institutions of higher education.
  • Action: Participants will learn about line of site actions that can be taken immediately to reduce potential harm from emergencies by taking actions in readiness, response, rescue, recovery, and resilience building.
