Q. Is there a fee for TMIT High Performer webinars?

A. TMIT High Performer webinars are FREE for our participants.


Q. How do I gain access to the audio portion of the webinar?

A. The webinar audio will automatically stream through your computer’s speakers or headphones.  If you wish to listen only, and not log in to the online event, please go to the pertaining webinar page on our site www.safetyleaders.org to get the current dial-in number and access code for phone access.


Q. How do I download the slide sets to accompany the presentation?

A. Slide sets, when they become available, will be downloadable from that webinar’s page at www.safetyleaders.org. Please note that the slide sets will be available by the morning of the webinar date. Do not be alarmed if you do not see them until that time.


Q. I have a conflict in my schedule. Will there be a recorded version of the webinar?

A. YES. A video of the webinar is available on that webinar’s page at www.safetyleaders.org. There is no charge for this resource. The video will be available within 3 business days after the original webinar time.


Q. How do I gain access to the webinar and related materials?

A. After you register for the webinar, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing valuable information including link and password information. Additionally, you will receive a link to the webinar page where you will find valuable supplemental resources. Please add “messenger@webex.com” to your list of safe senders.  You can also go to our website www.safetyleaders.org and navigate to the webinar page.


Q. Is continuing education (CE) credit available for this webinar?

A. TMIT provides participation documentation for you to present to your accrediting agency so that you can earn continuing education credits. Our webinars are worth 1.5 contact hours of credit, unless otherwise noted.

Also, Texas Medical Institute of Technology, approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15996, will be issuing 1.5 contact hours for most webinars.  TMIT is only providing nursing credit at this time.  Attendees can go to the pertaining webinar page on our site www.safetyleaders.org to get information to request the documentation .  To earn the CE Certificate, the attendee will have to take an exam on our CareUniversity site after the webinar.


Q. If a group of participants is watching in a conference or other large setting, do we all need to register?

A. Anyone wishing to obtain participation documentation for continuing education credit must register for the webinar so that we may verify attendance. Anyone, beyond the original participant whose registration will gain access to the conference, who does not wish to obtain CE credit, does not have to register unless he wants to receive notifications of future events. If you will be participating in a group setting, please make sure you have adequate speaker volume so that everyone can hear.
