Val Schott (Oklahoma Office of Rural Health)

    As the Director of the Oklahoma Office of Rural Health, Val Schott is actively involved in developing and supporting rural health interests. In this role, he makes presentations, works with coalitions, organizes local initiatives, and advises community and federal leaders on rural health issues. Schott currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Oklahoma Area Health Education Centers, and served as past president of both the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and of the National Rural Health Association.
