Course Description

The workshop is designed to equip you and your team to develop adoption plans to implement the National Quality Forum (NQF)-EndorsedTMSafe Practices, and to optimize your Leapfrog Survey submissions.

The National Quality Forum Safe Practices for Better Healthcare - 2009 set of Safe Practices has been carefully harmonized across the national quality, certifying, and purchasing organizations, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, The Leapfrog Group, the Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research, and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. The dedication of these organizations to excellence and their commitment to helping patients has created the first common roadmap for hospitals for their quality journey.

A world-class group of experts who participated in shaping the new Practices and updates will help quality and safety leaders understand how front-line organizations can fulfill the new requirements of the Practices and position them to win in the evolving pay-for-performance competition. This one-day free program will provide access to new concepts, tools, and resources that leaders can use to measure the progress of their organizations.

Target Audience:

CEOs, Quality and Patient Safety Officers, Nursing, Pharmacy, Risk Management, Hospital Administration leaders, and others involved in patient safety are the target audience. The program is ideal for those seeking to achieve top performance in pay-for-performance programs.
